The Havens Reimagines the Mountain Cabin
SNOWMASS VILLAGE, Colo. (January 11, 2021) – Positioned on Fanny Hill above the brand-new Snowmass Base Village (SBV) and across from Snowmass Mall, The Havens, a fully walkable community in a never-to-be-repeated location, will consist of only 10 single-family, ski-in/ski-out homes. Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate (SSF) began accepting contracts to purchase a Havens home on Jan. 12.
Each Havens residence includes a range of features designed to pristinely blend indoor and outdoor living, including a spacious outdoor hot tub. The homes are three- to four-bedrooms, as well as a flex den, a blank-canvas space that can be transformed into a media room, game room, library, home office or gym. These homes range from $5.7 million to $8.4 million and are scheduled to be complete in ski season 2022/2023.

The contemporary cabin design was imagined by the award-winning architectural firm Lake|Flato, Architect Magazine’s #1 of America’s Top 50 firms in 2019. In partnership with Design Workshop, a Colorado-based design studio, Lake|Flato has created a unique plan that places all 10 homes on a terraced slope to maximize views and create privacy.
SSF was named the official listing broker for SBV last year. The $600 million development is the largest underway in a mountain resort in North America. SSF is responsible for all of the new developer residences, including the new Electric Pass Lodge and One Snowmass. SSF has listed and sold more than 100 new development projects in the Colorado mountains over the past 30 years, with a total sales volume of $5 billion.
